Seriously it seems like YEARS since the last season of LOST. Good news is we are only about 6 weeks out from new episodes. Bad news is the lame studios are killing me by not caving to WGA demands giving us only 8 episodes for this season. Never-the-less looks to be the best season yet. I really believe by having a solid end-date it really has liberated the writers to write with more purpose and direction and fully expect these last seasons to be the best yet. So I did my part in the TeaParty07 event and donated. They raised over 6,000,000 (written out for full effect!) in just 24 hours! I really hope RP wins at least one of the early primaries, and at the very least hope Huckabee starts dropping, he’s really bad news. Huckabee has the wrong stance on immigration, soft on felons, raises taxes…if you want to find out more about who Ron Paul is and what he stands for head on over here. over all just a bad guy. Here’s to hoping we don’t end up with Huckabee vs. Obama….

What an awesome phone the N95 is. Seriously. HSDPA (3.5G), GPS, Bluetooth w/ A2DP, SDHC support, 3.5 mm headphone jack, TV-out, web-kit based browser, and 5 megapixel camera w/ Carl Zeiss lens. Wow got tired just typing all that. Now don’t get me wrong I love my iPhone but it’s missing a couple things which keep it from being perfect. Namely 3G, GPS and a nice camera. Only complaint I really have is there is a slight whine in the earpiece on calls. Sometimes I can hear it other times I don’t. Other than that I am loving being able to load apps up, change themes, and enjoy all the things that having a phone, camera , and GPS all in one offers. Oh and have a Sling client on a device with 3G and WiFi doesn’t hurt either
This is the best news all day, heck maybe even all year! What could make this announcement even better? It will be out in the first half of ‘08. Not a moment too soon as I am already missing channels due to TWC’s switched video roll-out on my TivoHD. Thank you TiVo for getting this done and taking care of your current customers! I will be ordering my second TiVoHD box as soon as you integrate said adapter.
So what could possibly be dorkier than a man in his late 20’s walking out of Targetwith Rockband in his hands? How about 2, 20-something year-olds walking out with multiple Rockband bundles? Yeah in an effort to relive our high school fantasies 3 of us guys at work plopped down the $169.99 large for the privilege of saying “Thank you Cleveland! You guys rock!” Quick 1 second review is it’s awesome and I can’t wait to have some peeps over to rock it out!

Nightwish at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. Pure awesome. It was totally sold out and thank God there was only one opening band. My main gripe recently is almost every show I go to we have to sit through 5 lousy local opening bands and by the time the band I am there to see comes on I am asleep and/or bored out of my mind. The opening band was Paradise Lost. Really not a bad band overall solid but pretty much not much action on stage. Nightwish came on around 10:15 opening with “Bye, Bye Beautiful” and totally rocking it out. Annette the new singer is amazing and definitely fills Tarja’s shoes, in fact I would go as far as to say I like her much better than Tarja. A definite highlight was the performance of “The Islander” which was so spot on I thought it was lip synced! They closed the show out with “I wish I had an angel” which was well done and matched every hope I had of seeing Nightwish live.
